2018 Excursion Programme


March, Thursday 15th
Guided tour of the National Star College, Ullenwood, Cheltenham by car. Cost £10 including refreshments.

April, Monday 23rd to Thursday 26th
Spring Excursion to Derbyshire, based at the Palace Hotel Buxton
organised for the CNFC by Just Go Holidays. A 4-day coach excursion visiting Kedleston, Haddon and Sudbury Halls and Gardens, Chatsworth House and Gardens, the village of Eyam, and the Spa towns of Bakewell and Buxton. Book using the form available here.

May, Tuesday 22nd
David Austin Rose Garden & Plant Centre, and Lichfield Cathedral by coach. Cost £44.00 including, entrances, guided tour, morning coffee and buffet lunch.

June, Thursday 14th
St Fagans, the National Museum of Welsh History and The Royal Mint, Llantrisant, Cardiff by coach. Cost £27.50 including entrance and guided tour at Royal Mint. Book using the form available here.

Autumn Excursion based in St Albans
This 3-day excursion includes visits to Dunstable Priory, Shaw’s Corner, St Albans Cathedral, Verulamium, Hatfield House and much more, and follows-up a talk given by the sculptor Rory Young to members of CNFC on 3rd January 2018 about seven new sculptures in St Albans Cathedral. September, Thursday 27th
Visit to Woodchester Valley Vineyard’s Winery & Cellar, Inchbrook Trading Estate, preceded by guided walk of vineyard. By car. Booking information to follow.
